Private Surfing Lessons

Some of the many original women surfers in Maine teach at Aquaholics, and we take great joy in providing lessons and clinics for all surfers, but as always, we especially enjoy helping women and young girls feel comfortable in the lineup. The guys out in the water are quite friendly and have always been helpful, so don't be shy! Come by yourself or bring a few adventurous children or friends along!

Private lessons are 1½ hours long, board and wetsuit are included. The time slots are as follows:

Surf Lessons 7 days a week:

9:00 AM - 10:30 AM
11:00 AM - 12:30 AM
1:00 PM - 2:30 PM
3:00 PM - 4:30 PM (except on Sundays)

The cost is $100 for a single, $150 for two students and $200 for three students. The max number of students per instructors for a "private lesson" is three. After three, we add another instructor and the prices are as follows:

What to Bring to a Surf Lesson

Swim suit / Swim trunks
Snack & Drink
Towel (We have 'em at Aquaholics)
Sunscreen!!! (Available in our surf shop)
Money to pay remainder of lesson/camp

Be ready to have the most fun EVER!

Please arrive 15-20 minutes prior to your lesson/camp time to get fitted for a wetsuit, sign a waiver and pay.
Parents are always welcome to stay and watch or take pictures!
