Want the kids to keep on learning right through summer and see learning as a fun, exhilarating experience (and get them out into the fresh air)? The ocean is a great classroom that has many interesting secrets to reveal. Give us your kids for a week and have them come home teaching YOU about the ocean!

Surf and Science Camps will run each day Monday through Friday from 9 to 3, with a big canopy for shade and lunch/snack breaks. Kennebunk beach is close to a great estuary system, a river and rocky tidepools. We'll be based there and will walk to the tidepools and marshlands. Here's a flexible schedule for the daily activities, which will change from week to week. The campers will surf, Stand Up Paddle and learn lessons about our natural wonders within reach of our homes and beaches. All while staying fit and healthy.

Keep your body and mind in full throttle this summer with surf and science camp.

Get stoked about the ocean while surfing waves in the morning.
Then get stoked about all the amazing ocean animals you find when you explore the tide pools, learn about waves, and play fun games that simulate the lives of your favorite ocean critters.

It is like a whole new planet out there in the ocean and we will show you all its weird inhabitants.

If you thought surfing was fun before, wait until you realize what a strange and awesome place you’re surfing in.

Day one-
Tide pool exploration ---Play on the beach and ask all the questions you have been burning to ask about the crabs, fish, and aliens of the deep.

Day two-
Play fun games that show you what life is like out in the deep ocean. You’ll be running around and learning at the same time.

Day three-
Learn about the physics behind surf board shaping and shape your own miniature board out of craft supplies. Then see if yours floats and holds weight.

Day four-
Marsh madness day! Explore the salt marsh and look for its weird animals.

Day five-
Mystery animal day. Explore up close which ever ocean animal your instructors can get as by catch from the fish market.

Other options- Fish prints. Just like they do in Japan.
