I had to remind him I was here to learn the ingredients, not peel carrots and potatoes, but he got the message and I got the recipe. A Tajine is a glazed ceramic cooking "pot" with a round, low base and a tall conical top. It is designed to return all the moisture to the bottom of the pot. It was SO WINDY.  We tried to surf, but it was too windy. We had lunch in a restaurant where the plastic chairs were blowing off the patio. Lunch was fish, salad and, of course, fresh bread. A bunch of the British crew tried to paddle out around the point at a beach around to the North of the rocky outcropping,but they got blown up. It was pretty big. It looked like it was pretty small when they started to paddle out, but... Pete jumped off the rock before it was even light out. Marc then waded out from the beach at the North side of the rocks and drifted into the peak area. I watched to be sure he wasn't maimed, then did the same. I saw a few rock boils nearby, and the sets were big enough to be intimidating, but I was patient and my timing was good. That afternoon we went out to Banana Point, a fun, easy wave but the wind was making a mess of things. We paddled out, but surfed like kooks (be quiet, Billy) in the choppy mess. Every place is a long right point here. Every spot. I don't think there are any "lefts" except for the beach breaks, which are few and far apart. It's best at high tide. If you surf it crack of dawn or sunset, you don't have the "boat people" to contend with because since the boat taxis won't leave before sunrise, they don't get there until later in the morning and they leave long before sunset. The boats leave out of Playa Hermosa, south of Liberia and it takes an hour and a half...
